SUBSTITUTE SPECIAL EDUCATION TEACHER - LIFE SKILLS

Parkland School District is seeking a motivated and supportive Special Education Teacher Substitute for a Life Skills Classroom at Parkland High School. This is a short-term assignment from January 2027 through April 2027.

Certification: Valid PA Special Education Teacher certification

Preferred Experience/Skills:

• Life Skills experience preferred
• Secondary level experience preferred
• Experience planning and implementing specialized programming for student needs
• Experience with evaluation and reevaluation process
• Experience with whole-group and individual Positive Behavior Support
• Effective organization of ongoing data collections
• Effective organization of paraeducator support staff to support student needs
• Effective collaboration and planning with general education staff to support meaningful inclusion 
• Effective parent collaboration
